Welcome to Beyond Labels & Limitations, an organization established out of one man's willingness to not accept what physicians deem "the normal course of progression". Beyond Labels & Limitations is more than a company's name, it's a way of life. While labels are important for classifying very real and important diseases in this world, Beyond Labels & Limitations examines the labels as a "section" of the entity instead of the entity, when it comes to beings.
The purpose of this site is to raise money for research dedicated exclusively to Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2A and to educate on the disease course and associated struggles of Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2A, as recounted through my personal experiences.
Throughout the works within these pages, I want to stress that the messages I express are in no way the cure to Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2A but rather suggestions that have made mobility more possible for me. My hope here within this site is to inspire those living with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2A to "see what it is you want from the end" (by acting as if you have what it is you desire), as my teacher Dr. Wayne Dyer has taught me.
And finally, Beyond Labels & Limitations would like to wish you much success as you travel along the path of YOUR life, in pursuit of YOUR passion, dream, and/or calling.
