4-29-07.  Self Study Book #1.  29 years old.  How do I decide between motivation and listening to my body?  In one hour my yoga
class was about to begin and there I lay in bed deciding if I wanted to go or not.  The motivations in me said get up and go you’ll feel great once you get moving.  The listening to my body said go back to sleep, you’ve only had 5.5 hours of sleep and you’ll feel tired all day if you get up now.  There is this notion in many of the books I read which says, “listen to your body, it will tell you what you need to know if you just listen”.  The hard part is my body is always telling me to “go back to sleep” whenever I wake up early in the morning.  But if I should happen to push through that thought I usually feel pretty good throughout the day.  Now, is my body telling me to go back to sleep because of the control muscular dystrophy is having over my muscles or am I just not motivated every morning to change where I am physically and push through the tiredness?  Right now I cannot answer this dilemma with certainty.  However, I’m sure the answer lies somewhere in between situational and universal.
